Uudet asukkaat tilalla

Hola!

Olen aikonut postata jo hyvän aikaa, mutta kuvien siirto ei jostain syystä toiminut. Olen tehnyt hirveästi kaikenlaista tämän syksyn aikana, esimerkiksi suitset kaikille hevosilleni paitsi kolmelle... Seuraavaksi olisi edessä loimiurakka. Myös satulahuoneen tekemisen olen aloittanut.

Tässä on muutamia uusia hevosia. Osa niistä on kyllä jo ikivanhoja, mutta sain maalattua ne vasta nyt.

I've been about to post something already for a while but for some reason it wasn't possible to move the photos from the camera. Anyway, I've made plenty of miniatures during this autumn, for example bridles to all my horses, apart from three... Next I'm going to make blankets. I've also started making a tack room.

Here are a few new horses. Indeed, some of them are ancient but I got them painted freshly.

Tämä on Aramis. Se on siis alunperin Papo-pintotamma, nykyisin puoliverinen ruuna. Se on tuntihevonen.

This is Aramis. Originally it was a Papo pinto mare, nowadays a half-bred gelding. It's a school horse.

Tämä on Belle Starr, Arabella. Se on percheron, ori alunperin. Arabellan ostin ihan vasta. Se on tuntihevonen.

Tämä on Bounty Hunter, Bounty. Se on ratsastuksenopettaja Archien oma hevonen, puoliverinen ruuna. Se on täysin yksityinen.

Tämä tamma on Call of Liberty, Skyfall. Se on andalusialainen ja tuntihevonen.

Tämä on Dance in the Moonshadow, Amadeus. Laku Caesar ja Riikka omistavat sen yhdessä, mutta Laku yleensä ratsuttaa sitä ja kilpailee sillä. Amadeus on todella kaunis minusta.

Se on nyt koeviikko taas, en kai muuten saisi minkäänlaista inspiraatiota :p Päätin tehdä muutaman taulun valmiiksi, koska kesällä sain lopultakin tulostettua joitakin värikuvia netistä. Itsetehdyt kuvatkin ovat kyllä söpöjä, mutta kyllä oikeilla kuvilla saa jotain aitouden tunnelmaa taloon! Minulla ei ole mitään erityistä suosikkitaulua, tykkään niistä kaikista ihan liikaa.

The exam week is here again - I guess I wouldn't have any kind of inspiration, otherwise :p I decided to make a few boards ready because in the summer I finally printed some coloured photos from the internet. In my opinion the self-made pictures are cute, too, but using real photos really brings a feeling of verisimilitude to the house! I don't have any certain favourite board, I like them all far too much.

Pitkästä aikaa jaksan postata jotakin. Miniatyyrejä olen kyllä tehnyt, mutta postaamista en vain ole saanut aikaiseksi. Tässä joitakin näytteitä, ei mitään erikoista.

Finally I post something here. Well, I have made some miniatures but I just didn't manage to post anything. Here are some works, although nothing special.

Bolalle uusi loimi.

Cintún on Penélopen vuokrahevonen, ja tällä kertaa Penélope jaksaa myös hoitaa heppaansa (edellisellä kerralla Riikka lunasti hevosensa pikapuoliin takaisin tuntihommiin laiminlyöntien takia). Nyt Pensku, jolla ei yleensä ole varaa edes ruokaan, jopa repäisi ja osti Cintúnille uudet, hienot varusteet :D

Cintún is the leasing horse of Penélope and this time Penélope also takes care of her horse (last time Riikka took her horse back to the riding school quite fast because of Penélope neglecting it). Now Pensku, who usually can't afford even food, bought new, fine equipment for Cintún  :D

Itse olen erittäin tyytyväinen siihen, että sain LOPULTAKIN - neljän kuukauden jälkeen- korjattua Riikan talosta keittiön ikkunan. Se on siis kuvassa tuo alempi ikkuna. Siskoni posautti sen täysin hajalle, ja tilalla oli pitkän aikaa vain pelkkä aukko.

I am very satisfied that I FINALLY - after four months - managed to fix the window of the house of Riikka. In the photo it's the lower one. My sister struck it in and, for long, there was only a sheer hole instead.

Elsan huone osa 2

Hola!

Noin viikko sitten tein Elsan huoneeseen lisää tavaroita. Makuuhuoneiden pitää mielestäni aina olla joko sinisiä tai vaaleanpunaisia. Riikan makuuhuone on jo vaaleanpunainen ja vierashuoneesta tulee koko ajan sinisempi, ja Elsan makuuhuoneeseen osui myös vaaleanpunainen väri, koska sininen ei sovi hänelle.

About week ago I made more things to Elsa's room. I think the bedrooms should always be either blue or pink. The bedroom of Riikka is pink and the guestroom is going to be more blue all the time, and now Elsa's room becomes also pink because blue doesn't suit her.

Vappupirskeet

Eilen oli vappu, ja totta kai Riikka ja Ullakin juhlivat sitä. Nämä kuvat ovat toissa vuodelta, kun Ulla vielä asui pienessä kolmikerroksisessa huvilassa, jossa oli kattoterassi.

Yesterday it was the first of May and, of course, also Riikka and Ulla celebrated it. These photos were taken two years ago when Ulla still lived in a small villa that had a roof terrace.

Ruokana oli prinsessakakku, munkkeja, cokista ja enkunlakuja.

They ate princess cake, coke and english liquorice.

Ulla hankki tällaisen ylisöpön kukkokannun.

Koeviikon kuulumisia osa 2

Hola!

Olen todellakin mestari keksimään kaikkea mahdollista muuta kun minun pitäisi lukea kokeisiin... Mitä saisinkaan arvosanoiksi, jos käyttäisin kaiken sen ajan oikeasti lukemiseen miniatyyrien sijasta! Tällä viikolla ovat vielä espanja, äidinkieli ja historia jäljellä. Eilisen aikana siis tein roomalaisen stolan, antiikin Rooman aikaisten naisten vaatteen. Minun mallini on siis patriisinainen. Stolaan kuuluu myös vyö. Lisäksi tein hänelle kaulakorun, korvakorut ja hiuskoristeita. Kampaus ei tosin ole kovin roomalainen, eivätkä myöskään kengät. En halunnut maalata niitä sandaaleiksi, joten nyt ne sitten ovat violetit. O Hercule! Nyt vasta tajusin, että olisin voinut tehdä sandaalit nahasta... :'(

Olen kuitenkin muilta osin todella tyytyväinen. En usko, että historian arvosanani olisi huono, jos se riippuisi tämänkaltaisesta opinnäytetyöstä ;) Eikö hän muuten jotenkin muistutakin Gladiatorin Lucillaa...?

Really I am very good inventing every kind of doing when I ought to read for examens... Oh what grades I could get if I really read instead of miniatures! This week I still have Spanish, mother tongue and history left. So, during the yesterday I made a Roman stola, a piece of cloth of women living in Ancient Rome. My model is a patrician woman. The stola also includes a belt. In addition I made her a necklace, earings and hair ornaments. Indeed the hairdo isn't very Roman, neither shoes shoes. I didn't want to paint them to be sandals so now they are violet. O Hercule! Just now I realized that I could have made her sandals from leather... :'(

Anyway, I am very satisfied. I don't believe that my grade of history would be very bad if it was dependent on this kind of thesis ;) But doesn't she somehow resemble Lucilla from Gladiator...?
