Talviaamun maasto

Hola!

Ulla saa varoa, sillä Elsa on kohta Riikan uusi paras ystävä...

It was a lovely weather this morning <3 (I love winter!) Consequently Riikka decided to go riding Maverick. Elsa left with her in case something would happen. This was because Mav is being trained. Ulla should be careful because soon Elsa will be Riikka's new best friend...

Deep snow riding was bit challenging at least to Mav who was frightened of snow.

Niinpä ratsukot laskeutuivat lumeen tallautuneelle tielle.

That is why the riders went down to the road.

Jonkin aikaa ravailtuaan he päättivät kokeilla laukkaa.

After trotting for a while they decided to try galloping.

Comu is super sweet but she got enthusiastic and bucked just because she was so glad. Fortunately Elsa did not fall.

Maverick laukkasi innoissaan.

Maverick galloped eagerly.

Maverickilla oli koko uusi varustekokonaisuus päällään. (Todellinen syy tälle postaukselle X) )

Maverick had worn his new equipment. (The actual reason of this post X) )

Uusi hevonen

Hola!

Olen pitkään haaveillut englannintäysiverihevosesta Riikalle. Ullallahan on jo Wonder, joka siis on uudelleen maalattu knabstruppertamma. En kumminkaan halunnut enää samanlaista mallia, orille varsinkaan, sillä Schleich-knabstrupper on täysiveriseksi melko pienikokoinen. Lempipuuhaani!

Tässä postauksessa on sitten kuvia uudesta tulokkaasta. Nimi on Maverick of Top Gun. Kaksoisvelikin on ollut jonkin aikaa suunnitelmissa; Iceman of Top Gun. Ja joo, minä olen elokuvien suurkuluttaja :D

Olen tyytyväinen työni tulokseen. Vaikka hevonen äkkiseltään katsottuna näyttääkin ihan samalta hannoverilaiselta, vierekkäin vertailtuna niissä kuitenkin huomaa eron.

For a long time I have been dreamed about a thoroughbred for Riikka. Ulla already has Wonder, which is repainted knabstrupper mare but I did not want an other horse with the same model, especially not a stallion, because the Schleich-knabstrupper is quite small a thoroughbred. Well, today I bought a hanoverian (Schleich) and I started to shape it immediately. I have never before customized a miniature horse but... I did not do anything else but whittled the figures look more like a thoroughbred and, at the end, repainted the horse. My favorite job!

There are photos about the new arrival in this post. His name is Maverick of Top Gun. I have also planned to have a twin brother to him; Iceman of Top Gun. And yes, I really watch lots of movies :D

I am satisfied for the result of my job. Although the horse looks pretty much the original hanoverian, in comparison with side by side you can see the difference between them.

Hola!

Riikka and Ulla's Wonder in the veteran competition. Wonder is a famous english thoroughbred mare, which has already retired, but Ulla just cannot be without racing with her. Besides, with the champion you will have easy money from not so high-class competitions...
